Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo in the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, a scholar and Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's early impressions were of rehearsals for plays and watching her mother at work. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in two stage productions prior to that, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk has moved from Toronto on November 29, 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Los Angeles Actors Workshop in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 and were married in an unofficial ceremony in December. When she converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on the 10th April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second baby born on May 13th, 2016. Silk is famous for her part on TV as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. In 2009 she landed the role of principal character Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to working. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of fourth season's production. CNN's Cable News Network named her character Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in the show Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E!
